Western Bulk is expanding the fleet of owned vessels
In line with our declared strategy, Western Bulk Shipholding has made the following vessel investements since Q4 2009:
- Western Oslo: IHI Japan; 56,000dwt; 2008 built Supramax
- Western Stavanger: Zhenjiang China; 32,500dwt; Newbuilding del. August 2010
- Western Wilton: Dayang China; 58,000dwt (Crown 58) Newbuilding del. March 2011
- Dayang China – Hull 3069; 58,000dwt (Crown 58) Newbuilding del. October 2011
- Dayang China – Hull 3070; 58,000dwt (Crown 58) Newbuilding del. November 2011
In addition Western Bulk has secured three long term Time Charter leases with Japanese owners. The vessels will be delivered from Q1 2012 and onwards.
