Strong earnings in first half of 2010
Western Bulk Group achieved a profit before tax of USD 21.6 million in the first six months of 2010, compared to USD 8.5 million in the same period last year mainly due to a significantly higher volume of vessels operated and a higher margin per ship day.
At the same time, Western Bulk has made several important achievements in building a fleet of owned and controlled tonnage. Read more in the Financial Report for first half of 2010.
