Open position: Claims Manager
We are seeking an experienced claims manager with the following qualifications to join our office in Oslo this spring:
- Solid experience handling FD&D and P&I claims working for a shipowner/ operator, club, or law firm
- Seagoing experience an advantage but not a “must”
- Organized and structured person
- Team player
- Good negotiating skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to travel internationally
- EU/EEA working entitlement or eligibility for same
You will be expected to give timely and business critical advice to chartering managers and ship operators located in Oslo, Singapore, Santiago, and Seattle. You will also be liaising with our club, external lawyers, surveyors, and consultants to ensure the effective and efficient resolution of claims.
