2010 Annual Report
For the year ending 31. December 2010 Western Bulk achieved a Profit Before Tax of USD 24.3 million (2009: USD 26.8 million). The underlying trading result (Net T/C Result) ended at USD 68.1 million, up from USD 51.3 million in 2009. The operated fleet continued to grow, averaging 95 vessels over the year
At the same time Western Bulk continued to expand its ship owning activities, adding 6 new vessels through both joint venture ownership and long term time charter structures with purchase options.
