Atlantic
The Western Bulk Atlantic business unit is handling Atlantic based business and customers, and operates on average about 25 Handysize to Supramax vessels.
The main commodities shipped are fertilizers, minerals, sugar and grains. The portfolio’s cargo base consists of a mix of industrial multi-year contracts as well as spot cargoes.
Apart from servicing our partners and clients we also seek to capture market volatility utilizing short and medium term instruments to enhance profits.
To support our many cargo customers, we have a solid base of long term tonnage partners offering competitively priced long, medium and short term tonnage.
The business unit also represents Western Bulk towards Vessel Owners for the Group’s long term period employment.
